Membership Requirements

100% SHRM Chapter - all new and renewing HRMAG members must also be SHRM members.


In accordance with HRMAG's bylaws, individual membership in the Chapter is contingent upon the individual meeting the description below. Each membership is individual rather than corporate -- professional rather than business. Succession to or transfer of membership from one person to another is not permitted.

Regardless of the reason, a member whose membership lapses will be readmitted by qualifying for membership according to the membership classification listed below.

Professional Membership – Persons in professional employment and whose primary career interest are in Human Resources. Faculty members or program administrators with responsibilities related to HR. Full time consultants, HR service providers or labor attorney’s with three (3) years experience in the HR field. Recent college graduates pursuing a position
in HR and HR Professionals actively seeking employment will be eligible for membership  at the current rate. Professional Membership is for those who show bona fide interest in the HR field and show commitment to strengthening the chapter.

All new and renewing HRMAG members must also be active SHRM members
